At gamigo from now on you’ll be hearing the familiar phrase: “These Romans are crazy!” — that’s because the free-to-play browser game Asterix & Friends is now available at gamigo. Players will now be able to participate in the uniquely Gaulish sport of roughing up Roman legionnaires and prove once again that not all of Gaul has been conquered!
The cooperation between Sproing and gamigo AG now also includes the integration of Asterix & Friends into the gamigo Portal gamigo.com, as well as the exclusive marketing rights for the following and other countries: Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.
“The browser game Asterix & Friends is an absolute must for every true Asterix fan, promising a great deal of fun with the indomitable Gauls,” enthuses Remco Westermann (Co-CEO of gamigo AG). “We are extremely excited that Asterix & Friends is now part of our gamigo.com portal.”
One small village of indomitable Gauls
In Asterix & Friends, players get to become part of the world of these bold and courageous Gauls in a lovingly designed and absolutely unique atmosphere. As indomitable Gaul, players fight side by side with Asterix and his friends to protect the freedom of their homeland against one of the largest and most powerful empires in the history of the world — the Roman Empire. In order to become the most successful Gaul of all time, they have to constantly continue expanding their village and ensure the well-being of their citizens. In Asterix & Friends, players have a wide range of buildings and decorations to choose from, which will allow them to build their very own Gaulish village just the way they’ve always imagined it.
A little rough and tumble with friends
Preparation is key if you want to keep the Roman legionnaires quaking in their sandals. So what could be more effective than a little friendly scuffle among friends? In Asterix & Friends, players are able to go up against each other and test their head-to-head. In order to emerge victorious against Caesar and his legions, players also have the option of teaming up in large guilds, allowing them to meet new people and perhaps even form new friendships in Asterix & Friends.
Explore the world of Asterix & Friends
In addition to Gaul itself, there are many other places to discover in Asterix & Friends, so, for instance, if Obelix becomes a little tired of hunting wild boar and the Romans too scared to venture out of their forts, it’s time to to set off across the sea to explore distant lands: Ancient Egypt and many other exciting adventures await!
Features at a glance:
- Playable directly in your browser
- Gripping storyline involving Asterix and his friends
- Countless exciting adventures in Gaul and Ancient Egypt
- Detailed comic-style world
- Sophisticated guild system
- Make new friends while playing!
