gamigo AG to boost Platform Strategy with Wirecard

  • Expansion of Customer Support platform module
  • Cooperation provides for expansion of language services, 24/7 availability, as well as WhatsApp and chat services

gamigo AG (“gamigo”, bond ISIN: DE000A1TNJY0), a leading international gaming company positioned in the fast-growing European and North American game markets, is now comprehensively expanding their platform services through a strategic cooperation with Wirecard Communications GmbH and Wirecard Bank AG.

The availability of the Customer Support department will be upgraded to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, the customer communication will be expanded through WhatsApp and chat services in the future, while the number of supported languages will be increased to 10 by the end of the year. Starting now, Wirecard Communication Services GmbH is also tasked with the bulk of first-level support. Additionally, Wirecard Bank AG will complement the payment services of gamigo’s own subsidiary Mobile Business Engine GmbH (mbe GmbH). In the framework of platform services, the module expansions within the departments of Customer Support and Payment will be provided to gamigo’s B2B customers in the future as well.

Wirecard is one of the globally leading independent providers of outsourcing and white label solutions for payment innovations. Their focus is on payment methods, risk management and customer communication.

Christian Hansen, Head of Customer Support & Payment at gamigo AG, explains: “Excellent quality and brief response periods are a key element in our customer experience strategy. The synergies between the existing gamigo support team and Wirecard should provide for an even more intense gaming experience for our players. The gamigo group’s continuous expansion to new markets such as South America and the Arabic territories (like the recent acquisition of Looki Publishing GmbH) requires an around-the-clock availability of support specialists. Furthermore, the expansion of payment activities will strengthen both our platform services, as well as gamigo’s international position within the payment sector.”

Remco Westermann, Chairman of the Board at gamigo AG, emphasizes: “The satisfaction of our customers is our highest priority, and we are constantly striving to improve customer support quality. We are looking forward to our cooperation with Wirecard.”
