The Rats, the cross-platform game featuring a bunch of cheeky gnawers, has been named the “Most Unique Game 2015“ by Russia’s largest social network Odnoklassniki (OK).
At the end of each year, OK elects the network’s best games in ten individual categories, among them the most viral game, the best tactical game, the top shooter, and the most unusual, i.e. most unique game.
The Rats has been elected “Most Unique Game 2015” because of its wacky background story, its bold but endearing characters, and its innovative gameplay ideas. The cross-platform game, that is available for browser and Facebook as well as iOS and Android devices, combines action, strategy, and classical Tamagotchi gameplay elements. The player assumes control over a pack of rats and leads them on raids and into the fight for a place in the legendary cheese paradise.
Just recently the clan feature has been introduced to The Rats, allowing players all over the world to join their rat packs and form even greater armies of gnawers.
Thanks to its outstanding performance, The Rats has been supported by OK from the moment of its launch on the platform in Mai 2015. More than 3 million players have since registered for the war of the rats on OK. The official OK fan group quickly attracted more than 33,000 active members and has now become a friendly and supportive international community discussing fluffy rats, cheesy ideas, and crazy costumes among everything else.
All in all, more than 7 million players are fighting all over the world for their place in cheese paradise, and for 2016 numerous updates are already planned.
